Went to Best Buy and picked up my Christmas/Birthday gift, an Alienware gaming laptop .
I will be a hermit for the rest of the year. That is my new year's resolution.
Something I do have to note though, the service at the Best Buy was absolutely atrocious. The process went fast enough but from the minute I stepped in to the minute I left the lady handling my order acted as if she was giving the product to me as a personal favor, like the way you give change to a homeless vagrant. Completely bored and incapable of basic conversation other than the very minimum required to finish the paperwork.
Even someone who didn't receive a second of customer service training could still be more courteous than that...I'm guessing it's more a failure of early life "training" on the part of the parents that results in this kind of behaviour.
I've even started to use the "nnnnnnope" and "Yyyyyup" in conversations.
That must get annoying as all get out!
