I went to small church with a girl I was dating years ago. I swear the minister was looking right at me while he was giving a hell bent Sermon on Sin and Lust. I had beads of sweat rolling off my head the whole time. I thought I was going to burst in flames at anytime.
Those are churches one needs to avoid. It's not you. It's the "holier than thou" pastor. Ditto for uptight Catholic parishes who tote the same line. God only knows, they've got some real skeletons in their closets.
I do believe in God but I am not super holy and religious. I don't really care for Baptist churches--they are too long and too much gossiping goes on
Amen, babe. Local churches and parishes are full of nothing but gossip, among one of the least Christian-like things, especially in a setting of worshipers. Why do you think I have trouble going?
It seems like, in the last 20 years, people get pissed if you don't want to consider interracial dating, as in "How dare you think like that?" Sorry. It's my third leg.
