White men who feel this way see black men as scum, and are disgusted by the thought "their woman" having been touched by one. Also, white men with this attitude often feel intimidated by black men, both physically and sexually. They fear a woman who has been with a black man will judge them sexually inadequate. They also fear that if their woman cheats with a black man, they will be unable to stand up to him physically.

Yup calling BS on this too. Most interracial couples I know are of the same SES. Middle, upper middle, whatever. (And this does include black men/white women).

I think some people just date outside of their race to be "adventurous". But at the end of the day, we all know that people will just marry within their own race anyway.
Why do you care? And why is it any of your concern who dates whom? Its 2012...I can't believe that some people still have these issues.
Many people mistakenly believe their particular race to be superior. And mixing with another believed to be inferior, contaminates that illusion. It's kinda like patting yourself on the back for having absolutely nothing to do with how you came to be or what complexion you inherited.
