Hmmm, I'm sorry, we can't date. Your typing has an accent.

I came here from England when I was 25. In the twenty years I've been here, I've met about 3 Americans who speak very good English. Nevertheless, I've never denied an American a date because of their poor English.

I would date a man with an accent because he is a MAN, nevermind his accent. BTW british, scottish, aussie, and spanish accents are at the top of my list in that order.

As long as there wasn't a major language barrier (I'd at least want the person to be fluent in English), I'd have no issue with someone who has an accent.

Hell, it'd be pretty hypocritical if I did have an issue with it, as both of my parents have accents, so taking an issue with dating someone with one would seem odd, to me, lol.

A few of my ex-boyfriends were ESL, with Spanish as a first language. Varying degrees of fluency in English. Also dated a man from Iran with an accent. So, yeah! It's totally cool with me.

Now I am dating an Ohio-born, metro-Atlanta-raised man who now lives in Chicago. Any accent has been neutralized.
