I've found women who tan, get pedicures and/or manicures, pretty much shave or wax down below. I'm a firm believer of how a woman keeps her fingernails and toe nails is a good indication of how they keep their pubic area as well. They don't have to be painted, but the one's that kept a neat appearance on hands and feet, kept the same appearance down below!
If you genuinely like someone, you're not going to dump them because of body hair. If it bothers you that much, tell them and they will probably shave it. I don't see someone being adamant about keeping an unruly bush of pubes if they know it grosses out their partner.

I think it's gross to have no hair down there.

And it's kind of nuts that in the past 15 years or so it's gone from perfectly normal to just be tidied up enough that nothing's sticking out of the bathing suit/underwear, to if a woman has any body hair at all below her eyes, she's thought to be making a hippy/feminist political statement or she's thought to have the personal hygiene of a hobo.
