Um, how is following a recent trend to rid one's self of hair where it naturally grows part of respecting yourself? That's perhaps the most utterly asinine statement I've ever heard.

Except, without exception the women I know have done it for themselves. I'm not a women but the women who have chimed in here havent said they are doing it only for theyre man. I keep trimmed for primarely for myself, but the women I know have liked it too
Pubic hair or not, shaved or not, doesn't guarantee a vagina to be completele clean or dirty. It's all about each woman's hygiene. Where all women dirty and smelly from the 1990s' and before? Come on.
Read an interesting comment in that link of someone saying it is not like men didn't go down on women before the 2000s because they had hair. Getting rid of all pubic hair seems to be a fad, a fad that many talk about but many probably don't even trim.
