OP probably has a hormone imbalance and an advanced case of narcissism. He has only intellectual pursuits to enjoy, and arrogantly believes those are sufficient for happiness. Of course, that's the result of ignorance.

I certainly don't see why they're not legitimate pursuits to enjoy that are sufficient. I guess to qualify as legitimate he has to be willing to enter revolving door relationship situations.

He can do whatever he feels, but if he felt the need to make a post like that.. it's pretty clear that he's not happy with how he's living. If you need to justify your life choices by belittling others, then something is wrong.
