Okay so starting next week every Wednesday my husband and I will be alone after work 4pm till 10pm I want to do something for him so he knows that I appreciate him. Everyone and anyone who has any great ideas please post away. Btw the 1st night I think because he does the cooking I will make a special dinner for 2 with all the bells and whistles but do guys even care about that or would they rather go out? Anyway I would appreciate your help thank you. I can't wait to have some extra one on one time with him!
Quick Question for the men , with the extra time would you rather be watching Tv or hanging out with the guys or some "alone time" with your special lady?
Sometimes doing something big or extravagent is great. That said, I find in my marriage that the two of us most appreciate the "little" things as much, or more than the big ones.
So I think making a terrific meal for him, since he normally does the cooking is a great start! It is a big thing, and a celerbation of the time off and time together!
Beyond that, little things that will help/encourage bonding may be fun. Is there simply things the two of you enjoy together, but rarely have had a chance to do? It could be as simple as taking a walk together, or being able to really just sit, relax, and talk to each other. Or go somewhere close the two of you wanted to go.
As a man, my first priority would be spending time with my wife. If it was long, extended period of time, I would also want to do other things of interest to me too (but that doesn't mean I wouldn't cherish or prioritize time with my wife either).

All the "studly" guys here will say how they will use this time to have mind blowing sex with their ladies.
I'll be honest and say that I'd take that extra time for a multitude of activities. Sometimes mind blowing sex. Sometimes hanging out with the guys. Sometimes posting on CD. Sometimes taking a hike. Sometimes reading. Sometimes etc ...

I like the sunset idea it just gave me my 2nd Wednesday plan. I'm thinking that we can go to lookout mountain for a hike and picnic then watch the sunset . It's a great view of Denver and the mountains thank you

Oh I truly will be I'm just trying to make him feel special because he always does for me so I'm just trying to get some feedback of what people find do for their partners and get a fresh POV maybe I'm over looking
Personally I'd rather have sex, then have dinner, and the dinner does not have to be anything amazing, just dinner.
Since it's a once a week thing, I'd rather spend alone time with my SO and save the guys night out on the weekend.
