Just tell him. If you're sure this is what you want, contact your ex and tell him how you feel. The worst that could happen on your end is that he rejects you. In that case, you continue to cry until you come to a place where you have to move on.
We broke up 3.5 months ago. I was the one who wanted to break up, and at first, he said let's give us both some time to think it over.
At first, he still send me text messages...but he slowly stopped doing so. I was being a little distance during the break because I really wanted to think about it with a clear head and every time he send me a text message, I hesitated about the break up a little more.
Finally, he didn't text for two weeks. Then one day, out of nowhere, he sent me a text messages asking to see me outside my dorm.
Tim said that he thought it over and believed that the break-up is the best for both of us, since he said that his work is taking his time away from me. And yes, he wished me luck on my next relationship.
I cried hysterically and I was really sad for a long long time. It was stupid of me to let go, and I love him
We did end on really good terms and he did text me a few times after that using OLD nicknames and I WAS very friendly during those conversations, even thought it was a bit awkward...
But then all of the sudden, he stopped the text messages..maybe because it was awkward..
We have a couple mutual, yet not-close, friends and one told me he looked normal after the break-up, no sadness. Nothing..I thought he love me back. He sure acted like he did when we were together.
I missed him terribly and I wanted him back. Now what?
Nothing a stiff drink couldn't cure.
Move on. You have to pick yourself up and move on!!
