So my fiance/boyfriend of three years left me seemingly out of nowhere a few months ago and I am having a really difficult time getting through it. How did you do it?

The most common repsonce is: Time

But in reality, you need to pick yourself up, spend time with family and friends, and get involved in your hobbies. Read some books. Join a club. Watch movies.

And there will be many hard emotional days, and as time goes on, the good days will happen more frequently.
Take care of yourself. Eat right. Excercise.

And try not to get fired from your job.
Try to keep busy, and really focus on the task at hand.

It isn't easy, especially if you genuinely cared for the person. Regardless of who ended it.
