Hitting your defuctable two months into the plan year is scary. Some of the nausea medicine was $200/ week. I paid out of pocket for that. Towards the end of chemo the side effects were worse than the nausea, so I started refusing. Amazingly I felt okay.

We always find that choosing a plan is a gamble. If we get the lower deductible/higher co-pay, it seems we never hit it. The years we choose the higher deductible/lower co-pay one are the years there's always some kind of surgery, medical issue or emergency that comes up. We'll hit the $3600 fairly quickly this year. We're about half way there and it just took effect June 1st. We have a few more appts coming up plus a few labs in Sept...that should push us right over the top there.
We made this mac n cheese dish last night that we got the recipe from Pioneer woman... whew.... it's a rich sucker.
The best part is that she cooks it with some grilled/caramelized onions in it.... give it a nice twist. It's also an expensive dish to make, I think it had 4 or 5 different cheeses in it.
We made a big ol tub of that shyt and we barely made a dent in it last night, gonna be eating it for a few meals... LOL
