Yes I am selfish for wanting to make sure my family gets my stuff and not someone else's family. The people should have stayed with the original family instead of trying to mooch off of people like me.

Just stumbled upon this site so not holding my breath for a reply seeing as I’m a few years late, but..

Is any mother’s main priority and concern, including herself, not the health, wellbeing, and protection of her child/children?

I could be wrong, and I’m sure in some cases it may be the opposite, but do you even think that the average mother would put the biological father of her child/children (still a couple or not) before their kid(s)?

I feel (only assuming in regard to most cases) that nothing or anyone on earth could possibly come before her offspring (biological father or step or anyone else in her life)?

Thoughts?

If you've read here very long (or noticed people in real life) there is no shortage of women, unfortunately, who would put their children in hellish situations because they "love" some no-good man.

It would be nice to think that nothing on earth could come before "her offspring," but just as there are rolling-stone fathers, there are plenty of moms who make bad decisions.
