Internet, non-dating site. I was NOT open to meeting someone online. In fact, I liked to tease people who did that. I used a chat program (like Yahoo chat, IM, etc) with my friend after work, we'd goof off, talk about work, etc. She would look for random guys (nothing serious) she did a search for a guy in the US age 25-30. That was it. Of all the dudes she got my FH. They started chatting and she bugged me to talk to him cause we supposedly had stuff in common. I never IM'd a strange guy but for some reason I thought, why not. So we talked and I thought nothing of it. We ended up all 3, chatting and after a couple weeks I decided to call him. A month later we took a roadtrip to visit him. We spent the next few months visiting and having an LDR. 9 months after the roadtrip we married. That was 11 years ago.
A very random internship at a small presidential campaign office. I didnt even want to do anything that summer. Met her the first day didnt think much of it. Took about a week and we just connected. Was very very easy and natural. Took our time though and became "official" 6 months later. Been dating for 5 years now! Crazy... But a good crazy.
Technically her step dad used to work for me. He showed me a pic of her. And her mom told her I thought she was cute so she added me on fb. Been pretty amazing since lol
She actually lived 6 hrs away at the time. Within a few weeks she moved closer to be "with her family" though she stayed with me every single night for the next 3 months lol.
We were next door neighbors, growing up. We were 8 and 9 years old when we met. Nothing happened way back then, because he thought I had cooties.
