Ladies and gentlemen. What is your take on the post-date text? Whether it be the night of the date, or the next day?
From a female's perspective, if I had a date that went well I like to hear from the guy sooner rather than later. But from what I understand there are people out there that still believe that waiting a couple days as to not appear overeager is the best approach?? What the heck?
And men, what is your take on having a girl send the first post-date text?
Every single date I had waited a few days.
In the beginning it was very annoying.
But I agree if you use any form of communication too soon, it gives the desperation vibe. Yet I don't get that vibe now at my mid 30's.

The only thing that matters is how much they like you. Everything else is B.S. For example, if the woman really likes you and you do anything, she'll be thrilled. If she's lukewarm or isn't interested, you could do everything "by the book" and it wouldn't matter. I've heard women say "ooo, he texted me as soon as I left! He cares!!" if they like the guy. Like, seriously, they text ten minutes after they leave each other.
Every guy I've dated that liked me always texted me right after the 1st date to tell me he wanted to see me again lol. Never botehred me, although I'm not much of a texter but it lets me know what page the guy is on from the beginning and I like that.
When I first met Duchamp girl, I was waiting outside a sushi restaurant and she was late. My food was bad but she was beautiful. At the end of the hour, I asked her if she wanted to get coffee. The coffee queue was long, she got anxious and made pigtail plaits with her hair, my arm rubbed hers once and hers on mine minutes later and no word was mentioned but a half smile. Spent the next six hours at starbucks. At 7pm, the staff kicked us out. She left. I went to a Marshall's, picked up a box of polka dot socks and texted her at 7:30ish.
