I'm not going to read so many pages, but did this person state they rejected you because of your weight, or is that all in your head? Sometimes we project our insecurities on others.

Fat women are not attractive to men outside of fetish and guys without the ability to attract non overweight women. Your one off "she is attractive to someone" has no place in generality discussion.
I am attracted to overweight women. It's not a fetish, it's a natural attraction or preference. Nor am I unable to attract non overweight women. Hell, just a couple months ago I had a pretty fit woman hit on me and I had my two boys with me! I was never desperate, and I am not an uneducated hack who has no options. I am just a regular guy who slowly developed a preference for overweight women instead of other body types. And I know I am not the only one out there like me. So really, it's denial of the "attractive to someone" that has no place in the discussion.

My sister in law has always been fat and my brother doesn't care. They started as friends first in school at a time where they were too young to be dating and it developed. My brother is handsome, a doctor no less and could have gotten a thin wife but he is happy with his wife.
I swear, some of the things I read here annoy me, like the comment where someone stated a woman needs to stay thin but her husband can be fat, because after all women are valued for their looks and men their money. Or because television shows fat men dating thin women that means all fat men can date thin women because women don't judge his looks. All of these are false. If I was going to stay thin for my husband he better stay thin for me. I am not interested in a fat man, especially a fat man who belittles fat women. Oh sure I could find myself falling for a large man but my point is too many people think women will overlook when in fact we can be just as shallow as men.

This place seems to be overrun lately by a plethora of arrogant, mouthy, opinonated individuals, who are under the misguided impression that their bodily fluids and waste matter don't emit odors of any kind, and who act as though they were deputized by the Almighty (or think they ARE the Almighty ) to try and save us poor unenlightened schmendricks from ourselves...
I don't know what world some of you live in, but the one I inhabit doesn't revolve around hot air and BS flung about like grease in a hole-in-the-wall chicken joint, on an internet chat forum no less, by those whose milk mustaches have barely begun to dry
If there are people in this world who are attracted to overweight folk, or overweight folk who are attracted to OTHER overweight folk, or NON-overweight folk, then they do not need your permission to exist and go about their daily lives, while these supposed know-it-alls spout off a bunch of statistics, studies, homilies, and blog posts from alleged pick-up artists, whose combined real knowledge holds about as much weight as, say, a bag of freeze-dried fish dung, and whose usual Saturday night dates are with porn mags with sticky pages, and strategically hollowed out cuts of beef from a nearby butcher shop

It's because most here have little to no dating experience. They claim to be experts because they read it on a PUA site. People like what they like. I know more thin men dating/married to overweight women than the opposite.
