Oh fun sitting on a John Deere today. Making decent time. It was running rough for a while. So I pulled the carburetor top off and cleaned it up. It runs like a champ.

Ain't it nice to be able to do stuff like that yourself?

Mind you......I've never pulled a carb apart before, but you get my drift.

The pain sites are much better especially the shoulder that was sore from the shot. Thank you for asking. : )

The movie was everything I expected it would be, meh, but with a capital MEH! The first 30 minutes or so were darn good, but it went kind of into boredom field after that. A nape for well over half of the movie would have done me good, but I stayed awake just in case. Oh well, the day is still young, I'm thinking of heading out to the beach if I don't first fall asleep in the next few minutes.

I hope all is well with your father-in-law and Chow, hope you're all dealing with the weather ok out there.

So, it's just another stupid Godzilla/monster movie that focuses on the humans, their relationships and pasts that I don't care about, and little attention given to the MAIN CHARACTER!!! lol

I hate that so much. Next time they make a Godzilla movie, it had better be an hour and a half of him wrecking Tokyo, and that's IT.

Guess that's another one on the list of ....I'll wait for it to come on TV.

Actually, I liked the first 30 minutes which was more focused on the humans, the monsters were the boring, almost laughable part which caused me to want to fall asleep. There was a lot of silly creature action, that just didn't do a thing for me.

Why is it that I was perfectly content to snooze on the couch until my husband woke me up and said "don't use your car, there's no oil in it...I need to get a part".

And now I want to go out! I thought I'd start dinner, but I need stuff from the store. Okay, scratch that.
I would like to get some pots and flowers for the deck, but can't do that either. Ahhhhhhhhgrrrrh! I'm trapped here! LOL

He shouldn't have woken me up!

Yeah, once you 120 degrees, "but it's a dry heat" doesn't apply anymore.

The heat really wasn't too bad at graveside today. Glad it was short and sweet, though.

But, TRosa, you'd have been proud of Chowie. He wasn't going to speak at the service after all, but decided to at the spur of the moment. He was great! He started off with a good funny line that lightened the mood considerably. (Some of the people were really starting to lose it, us included.) And then, during his telling of anecdotes, he let a few choice curse bombs drop, LOL. He turned to the pastor sitting near him and sheepishly apologized, and she just laughed and said it was okay. (Everyone else laughed, too, luckily.) Everyone was coming up to him afterward and telling him how they loved his eulogy and remember the things he was talking about.

Seriously, don't go by me, seems a lot of people like it, I'm just not one of those people. Cranston did a great job of building the tension, his screen part with his wife, movie son were worth the watch, but there's plenty enough of monster fighting, but to me, the monsters looked like metal and paper mecha. I like to be scared of my monsters, these, not so scary. Seriously, I found myself laughing at a few of the battle scenes. Everybody was kung fu fighting.

70%+ ratings by critics and audience on rotten apples, so go ahead, enjoy. But don't say I didn't warn ya. But then too I'm an odd ball I didn't care for Avatar all that much.

That is the most beautiful thing I've read all week or you brought tears to my eyes. Tell Chow I am so proud of him. Just lovely in every way.

Sea, Thank you so much for sharing that.
