I'm sort of a comedy connoisseur and to me, pranks and things like that show "Punked" and April's fool's day stuff to be of the lowest order of comedy, and not funny in the least bit.

YMMV

Well thankfully I get to go to bed now so I am going to miss the majority of this fun filled festive day. Good night

We're having some work done today at the house today, got a couple of contractors banging around the kitchen.

I was planning on maybe doing some work here at home, but with the racket, I doubt I'll get much done.

Getting that ugly drop ceiling tile with the fluorescent lighting removed and some nice recessed lighting put in.

Should be good when it's done.

I miss having a job and playing little pranks on co-workers. My first 4/1 at the bank I came in early and switched the numbers around on everyone's adding machines (my department was the red-headed stepchild, so the only equipment we got were the castoffs of the front line departments). Well, the response was underwhelming because no one even noticed that I switched their numbers around until halfway through the day; turns out they no longer needed to even look at the key pad. Epic fail on my part, so I had to up my game the following year. I think today I'll tell the Mr. that I'm knocked up or found religion.

Good luck! I had to leave work early to come home and nap. I've been fighting a cold and not sleeping well. I was fine one minute and then sitting at my desk started getting dizzy. I think the nap helped a little. I need to get up now and head back into town for the networking presentation at my old place of employment. The food better be decent, but I used to work there so I assume it's the same college crap.

We're half way done with the lighting retrofit and it looks really good so far, they got all the lights installed and now we're we have to get some drywall work done and then the final paint.

I'll post some pics when finished.

Sounds awesome. What kind of lighting are they putting in?

Recessed LED lamps... on a dimmer, it really makes the kitchen look so much better without those ugly 2X4 ugly frosted panels...... opens it up pretty nice.

Our place has a large front room and two dual master bedrooms each with a bathroom attached, but the thing that they went cheap on was the kitchen... it's pretty small.

I know, for our next place to get a larger kitchen preferably something with an island... love those. We're pretty much foodies and spend a lot of time in the kitchen.......
