Mags, did visit the home, it was a bust, looked at 5 others and have decided to try and purchase this one:

The photos you see are exactly how the home looks and the bay window on the front home is actually the front porch.
Much more than we really wanted to pay for a home but this one feels right so we are going to try and make this our new home. If we are not able to do so we will keep looking.

Edited to add: We met one of the owners and they built the home in 1954 right before they got married and have lived there since the day they got married.
