If someone had some form of mental illness, such as BDD, social anxiety, depression, GAD, or bipolar, would you still date them?
No. What kind of question is this, why would I know knowingly get into a relationship with a nut job? Not to mention I risk passing the crazy gene to my kids.
Agreed with this. I am a bit neurotic myself. So, I wouldn't do well with bipolar, where they can just fly off the handle, or get in horrible moods and tantrums. I have been around people like that, and it was hell for my nerves just wondering when they were gonna snap.
Depression is horrible, but untreated, it's going to be a bad relationship for both. So no. Mental illness isn't a person's fault, but it is their fault if they aren't taking to steps to fix it, or control it. So, no go there, if untreated, or refuses to get treated.
