Everyone says age is just as number, but I am sure it is meant to a certain extent. What is the biggest age difference (how many years younger than you and how many years older than you) you would date and why?
When I was 21, I dated a 30 year old. I was an undergrad and he was in grad school at the same university - so we weren't in drastically different phases of life.
There was a 14 year age gap between me and a past SO, but I did go on a date, only one, with a guy 17 years my senior. Most of the men I dated prior to my husband were 10-14 years older than me.
I was pretty firm on dating men at least in their mid 30s, but I greatly preferred late 30s to early 40s, which was 10+ years my senior at the time. I only met/went on a date with a handful of men <34. I pretty much exclusively dated older men. Wasn't interested in younger or men in my age group, really.
Oldest I've dated was 7 yrs older. Oldest I would date is 10yrs older.
