Everyone says age is just as number, but I am sure it is meant to a certain extent. What is the biggest age difference (how many years younger than you and how many years older than you) you would date and why?

When I was 18 I was sleeping with 34 year old, simply because she was gorgeous.

So that was 16 years difference, now at 30 as long as she is beautiful I wouldnt really care for her age.

When I was 21, I dated a 30 year old. I was an undergrad and he was in grad school at the same university - so we weren't in drastically different phases of life.

I was 24...they guy was 48. I also dated a 19 year old when I was 23. I dated men of all ages.

My hubby is 10 years older than me. I just recalled.....my great grand father was 35 years older than his second wife.

There was a 14 year age gap between me and a past SO, but I did go on a date, only one, with a guy 17 years my senior. Most of the men I dated prior to my husband were 10-14 years older than me.

I was pretty firm on dating men at least in their mid 30s, but I greatly preferred late 30s to early 40s, which was 10+ years my senior at the time. I only met/went on a date with a handful of men <34. I pretty much exclusively dated older men. Wasn't interested in younger or men in my age group, really.

1 year and 11 months older than me. That's the only age I will date now.

I once dated a guy three (almost four) years younger. Never again.

EDIT: at least not until I'm much much older.
