How many dates do you usually go on, before becoming intimate? (girlfriend, love)

The shortest I really had to wait was with my current girlfriend, and I think that was 7 or 8 dates? Somethin like that.. honestly I don't remember.

Date, to me, kinda seems like still casual-not an item yet. No sex until we are a official item, and I have really gotten to know, trust, and love the person. So, may be some months for me. Definitely not a few dates.

Totally varies. If I had to give a range I'd say 3-4, though some were more. Once it happened on the first date, but that was a very rare circumstance, for me anyway.
