LOL, you only know what it is from the outside. I toured prison once along with my aunt. Creepy.
Well I toured a prison in Canada, and everyone was either in the yard tapping Maple trees, or just sitting around the commons playing cards, knitting winter hats, and making snow shoes for poor kids in Toronto. Doesn't seem that bad.
In high school we had a field trip to a prison. Scared the **** out of me. Not that I ever plan on ending up there, but I did I'm make sure to get myself thrown in solitary as soon as possible; no way I'd survive gen pop.

But NJ does not have solitary for female prisoners, because women have demanded neglect, especially during pregnancy, is cruel. You have no other choice.
