(He says, yeah, Waimea Bay is really nice.)
I've always loved Kauai best. We used to have Marine Maneuvers on Maui & Kauai & Hawaii (the Big Island), & Oahu, in isolated areas.

Oh, okay.

I just mentioned Waimea because that's where the "little Grand Canyon" is, apparently?

My cousin brother took a honeymoon to Hawaii after his marriage.

I'm hoping to take my honeymoon to Norway, in summer. But that's quite unlikely to happen.

My cousin and his wife went last year and are going again this year. (Lol, I've got to change my facial expression or it's going to stay that way.)

Yeah... Oahu is an overrated tourist shytstorm....

Waikiki beach is a joke too...... way way overrated....

Need to get away from all of that touristy crapola and really see the islands.... I did like that we stayed with someone that lived there and was away from all of the tourist and hotels on the beach.... got a taste of what the real island was about.

They had military in the family so we got access to the base there... was interesting seeing building that still had bullet holes in them from the Japanese attacks.

They purposely didn't repair them.. I think it was reminder to stay vigilant... I suppose....

Waimea Bay is on Oahu. We slept on the beach & swam/surfed/snorkeled when I served on a ship in Pearl Harbor.

Yeah, I'm mostly the lone wolf of the group. I have always done my own thing.
