I was in a t shirt again at work ( shows how busy I am )

Heated seats = heaven

Our car with heated seats is in the shop, courtesy of the deer I nailed the other day. Sucks for me...it was downright frigid this morning and heated seats would have been pretty comfy!

I miss my pickup that I totaled when I hit the deer.

I got lucky then!

He hit the front, drivers corner...quarter panel, front end and hood need to be replaced. They haven't called with a quote yet, but my husband was thinking the engine case and all that other stuff under the hood looked okay. It was a small deer (from what I saw in the side mirror....I kept driving!).

Okay, I exaggerated; wine's been known to happen. I guess I'm mostly thinking of this one pizza joint around here. It has sort of an old-timey atmosphere, lots of after-sport gatherings with kids' teams, arcade games, etc. But you sit at picnic-type tables, and somehow I think it's just more fun to order a pitcher of beer.

With other food, I'll have a beer once in a while, but it makes me full too fast. I'd rather have the beer after. Or before. Usually I drink wine, though. I, too, like to exude class.

I am making these right now, in the oven as I type...they look pretty but we'll see how they taste. It's a trial run for one of the Thanksgiving desserts I'm making.

Those are really beautiful, Sixy! I'm sure everyone will rave about them!

I keep trying beer, but it's one of those things that I just can't seem to like.

Well they came out of the oven...they look pretty but the pan wasn't greased enough. Trial run so I only made 6 of them. They were just okay though, nothing I'd rave over.

I think I'll stick to cream puffs...those are easy, and tried and true for us.
