The older and more set in my ways I get, the less I can be bothered with people of any gender out there in the day-to-day. That goes double for people under my roof, in my space or in my bed. I jus’ ain’t got the spoons, boss.

Everyone I was ever capable of caring about or forming some connection with is dead. They won’t be replaced in my heart, mind or memory.

Dang man I feel for ya but you sound like you’ve become strong in mind. And yeah a lot of people out there subtract from your life instead of add. It can be draining and I can see how it would make someone content with just staying in their own lane.
