So you have never asked a woman out?

What do you construe as interest? What should a woman do to let you know she likes you?

And...

What do you do to let a woman know you like her?

Ah I don't think so, I'm very shy about it. I'm not doing it to be published since the quality of my writing is not good enough. And the subject wouldn't interest most people.

I have a few female friends (ok, a ahlf dozen or so) that I tend to bounce things off of from time to time.

It's a good way to get feedback from friends who might have a different point of view.

Also, I think it doesn't hurt to have a few good female friends in general if you're single even if they aren't romantic interests or possibilities.

And what is the subject? Are you writing an instruction manual for fun or something?

That's very hard to say since I've never had interest shown from women, just like I've said. But perhaps taking an active interest in what I say and wanting to be/do things with me.

I don't do anything, I'm far too reserved for that. I'm just asking because I have several male friends who don't have to do anything to get women....they never have to show interest, the moment they walk into a place there's a dozen of them looking at them and wanting to talk.

One in particular sometimes even has to shrugg a few women off because it's too much. And he doesn't do anything, he just sits there.

It's an espionage thriller. Yes, I'm just doing it for fun, it'll never leave my bookcase.

Apparently he can't, because they "have boyfriends."

And they always say women haven't shown "the slightest interest in me". They also are always working on their professional achievements

Do you feel uncomfortable opening up to your friends? People in general? Friends for me are those people that I can trust with absolutely anything and everything.
Your female friends might have good advise, especially because they have boyfriends.
