Do you think soulmates exist? Does the universe really conspire to bring two people together? Thoughts and experiences welcome!

All just my opinion. I don't think soulmates exist.

If the universe had a job of bringing people together, then so many people wouldn't be dying single, and struggling for find mutual attraction, or people who date, marry, and stay with toxic partners, or people who had to eventually settle for whoever shows interest because they can't get much else.

I do think a certain amount of luck is involved in finding a someone for a relationship with mutual attraction, chemistry, matching beliefs, and looking for the same thing, etc. But I still wouldn't say that 2 people were just "fated" to be together. Some are better matches for some than others.

So in the end, if soulmates exist, and the universe makes a job of uniting people, then it's not doing a good job.

I believe if you do a forum search, you will find many threads on this topic.

Do I believe in soul mates? Yes. I also believe they aren't limited to romantic partners.

Most people that have found their soulmate will scream from the hills that this is true. I know of them personally. The ones that don't, havent had the experience. Those are the only differences and the fact that the people who don't believe are extremely logical people.

I have found both a soulmate and a twin soul. One died, one is not meant to be a romantic partner. And I'm incredibly logical.

Oh. Nice to know. I don't know if I believe in the twin souls. But I do believe in soul evolution and I think everyone is assigned a mate to help grow them.

no. In fact the minute someone says they have found their " soul mate" I give them a few years, tops. And I am usually right. I think we can be happy with different people at different points in our life.

I agree we can be happy with different people. I believe my LH was my soulmate, but I don't believe he was the love of my life. Just like I believe my BFF is a soul mate but we would ultimately not work as a couple.
