Agreed here. And it wasn't something serious enough to be corrected on. So when someone gives you a greeting, greet back and don't critique their grammar and words.
My friend would do that with texting. If I made a small typo, she'd feel the need to correct it, even if she knew what it meant. But she hated it when I did it to her at one point, to show her how annoying that is. Hypocrite.
