What I'm saying in that case is I may have had mutual attraction in that case if I gave her another opportunity. I mean she wasn't hideous by any stretch of the imagination and was pretty pleasant. But no, the emotionally closed-off harda$& Diss wasn't having it because he thought with his pants instead of his mind.

So, I had to move back home at the beginning of the year. I have a great job and my own transportation. I just don't feel comfortable dating anyone when I'm living back home.
Anyways, I have a great mother and she raised me well. She taught me how to treat women with respect and be the man that I am today.
However, I think things would be different or maybe even better if my father or positive male role model was in my life.
You've only ever asked one person out and she said no? Other than that, you've never dated or had relationships when you were living on your own? How old are you now?

I've asked plenty of women out over the years even when I was living on my own. Some were relationships and some were just FWB. I will soon be 30 in a few more months.

If all women were like Raena77 & took the bull by the horns re: dating, the world would be a better place.

And, I fail to see how a positive, negative, or non-existent male role model for men growing up has any relevance when discussing the topic of this thread, i.e. whether or not guys are freaked out when women ask them out....

Some like it and some like to make the first moves themselves but feel flattered that woman approaches since it rarely happens.
