Nightclubs are awful, is this this description of the experience NOT perfectly accurate ? (women, love)

"Wednesday comes to an end and you begin to see the light of the weekend approaching near.
You start texting your closest pals in attempts to brew excitement for a night filled with fist pumps and high fives! The local club scene is calling your name, and it is always a sure thing on Friday and Saturday night !
I'm glad that was never my scene. Loudness, alcohol, and pretentious D-bags with fancy watches and fake swagger. Hard pass. Plenty of better places and ways to get laid.
I'd rank that as about as appealing as a creeper in the produce section. Which is to say...not.
I never liked them. I do enjoy dancing from time to time, but they were never the place to just 'hang out'. I like to have conversation, not yell at each other in a sea of bodies and dodging spilled beer!

lol. No wonder some of the guys who post here complain they can't meet any women, or no LTR material.
I grew up country with western and/or sports bars before moving to the city where I preferred neighborhood pubs so have never encountered anything like this. I'm too old for all that nonsense now, but it doesn't sound like I missed much!

LOL I would bet my snacks that most guys who post here would not consider me LTR material. I'm 100% groovy beans with that though, as I'm pretty sure the feeling is mutual...and plenty of lovely souls have felt otherwise.
But honestly though, it seems odd to me that a woman would contemplate with any seriousness, going to a place where single straight guys are known to engage in predatory sex-seeking "meat market" type behaviors and then drink a bunch of alcohol and muddle their own ability to enforce boundaries, watch out for ourselves, and give or withhold consent mindfully. I'm not really into making idiot-bait of myself like that.
With like the added bonus that you might end the night vomiting! WHEE.
I've managed to have a rockin' social life and a lot of fun, way more than most people I know, without any of this being involved. So I just feel a mild sort of pity for people I hear talking like at work, who don't seem to know of anything fun to do out that doesn't involve going to bars and getting blitzed. But I guess my idea of fun wouldn't do it for them either, so I shouldn't judge.

Your Friday night is not my Friday night and that's ok...

The thrill of going out has escaped a little year by year. Now I don’t go out and just work my Lyft hustle unless there is a really good show in town. I drank a little too much last Friday and it was no fun wasting the weekend to recover from it.

I go to clubs weekly to see bands. Never anything like this!
I'm not into dancing myself, but know plenty that are, and one that even promotes/runs a night. Its nothing like this.
Of course, I can't imagine going out to try to find a hook up. I just don't get the mindset. They've happened, but they're the rare byproduct of chance and having a good time.
