it has to do with it because I was comparing it to the kinda guy who likes going to strip shows....outside of bachelor parties...........

I took RbbcL's point to be that MANY guys who aren't basement dwellers, deep down, enjoy looking at naked women dancing (why wouldn't they?), and a bachelor party is a socially safe opportunity for them to exercise that urge.
"Supporting a friend" is the socially acceptable reason they give their wives/GFs for doing it.

I didn't say they would look away if they were there, tho.......I said that most guys in healthy relationships don't go to strip clubs ......when they have a healthy physical intimate relationship at home.....
A bachelor party is different than going by yourself......or regularly.....& if they are doing that, it doesn't matter what excuse they give, no girl with any self esteem would put up with it...........it's different than one bachelor party for a best friend.....
I could not imagine being with a man like that........but maybe there are some out there that tolerate it & are happy......I wouldn't be tho.

If your friend is hiring male strippers for her bachelorette party its because she wants to. Its not for laughs or just the rite of passage of the bachelorette party..."Everybody gets strippers. You have to!" And if you go its because you enjoy it too.
Frankly I think I'd be concerned about any friend I had that actually did that, wanting naked men throwing their penii around, as a way to celebrate entering holy matrimony. Its bizarre behavior.

Yes, I do think it has a lot to do with being middle-aged. Most of the people who are having these kind of parties are young people. And we’re judging them through middle-aged eyes.

Well Im not that old. Im in my early 40s.
But my point is, are people really claiming they hire strippers not for the nude dancing, but for some other reason?
If they hire the strippers its because they enjoy the nude dancing, thats my point.
