continuing to be happy and content when things don't go as hoped, e.g., if a person you are attracted to is not attracted to you; or if one you are currently with becomes attracted to someone else.
Many, "strong," "confident" people break down when they are "rejected" because they cannot maintain inner happiness
under all circumstances due to weak acceptance of, and belief in, their own value.
