How many people out there really stay faithful when they are married?

I feel like all of my friends are married because they got pregnant. They seem to try to stay together, but I know most of them are miserable...

One of my exes is married and still tries to hook up with all kinds of girls.

Does anyone in their late 20's early 30's EVER stay faithful?

Me. I've been faithful for 29 years, from 19-49, right through both my 20's and my 30's and, as of next year, my 40's too.

Me too, and with one hand tied behind my back.
Easily.

Been faithful for 11 years, both of us. We were faithful for the 7 years we dated and hubby was only 17 when we started dating. So we were both faithful through our 20's and 30's and always will be.
We can't even fathom why people cheat, especially those that cheat when their marraige is going very well.

What does the first question have to do with the second...?

I've always been faithful. But I don't think you'll get many honest answers to that question.

My husband and I did have a child together before we got married, but when we found out that I was pregnant I told him this "I can't give my baby up, either to death or adoption and don't ask me to marry you because I will say no". If we had gotten married at that point it would have been only for our child and that was not what I wanted.

As things are, we were engaged quite a while after our son was born and got married a year after getting engaged. His brother asked him if he was getting married just for our son and my DH looked him in the eye and laughed at him. He said "when have you known me to do anything I didn't want to do and when have you known me not to think something through long and hard before I go for it?". I'm sure people speculate that we got married because of our son, but those who know us well know that we did not get married because of him. We got married because we are the only ones who will be able to stand each other for better or worse.

To answer the question on cheating, neither my husband or I have ever cheated on each other, neither while we were dating or after we got married. We have policies in our marriage that protect us from that. If either of us gets the urge we must first let the other one know and give them the chance to get out of the marriage before any cheating happens. (I know it's weird, but we like to have all our bases covered).

Yep, I've been faithful all through my 20's and early 30's. I'm wondering, is it suppose to change now that I'm in my late 30's or 40's - are we allowed to be unfaithful then?
