And as far as the people watching tv at the gym on the treadmills, they are all in pretty damn good shape.
A car can seem in pretty good shape too, but still have an empty engine bay or missing seats.

Don't mistake a nice set of traps or lats or quads for total balance.

That's a shame, but then society's emphasis on the external is I suppose a strong motivating force.

I've taught taijiquan and practiced Chinese medicine for over 30 years - what do you think?

Not very familiar with that, I think it some sort of martial art?? Are you saying that my working out has not benefited me at all?

Yes - a very old Chinese martial art - some call it a mind/body exercise.

Not at all. I'm saying that, given the right techniques and focus, it could produce benefits far in excess of what you've already gained.

That's a sad gym if it only has 5 TVs.

Here's that generalization thing again......grrrrrrrrrr
Now that's a real gym w/ all those TVs. But I doubt you're burning 1500 calories/hr. on any machine, not even a sex machine.

Sweet images.

All this gym talk reminds me of my dealing with jerks at a gym thread.
