I spent the night with a friend who has had surgery due to breaking her leg. I got up this morning, fixed her breakfast, did a load of wash for her and ironed a couple of shirts. Made some things more accessible for her, straightened her den a little. And she was so appreciative. She is truly a great person and she just lifts my spirit to be around her. Although I did threaten that if she didn't already have a broke leg, I'd throw her down the stairs.
I just donated some canned food to the local food bank
