I adopted an 8-yr old rescue doberman last Friday and took a week's vacation to let her get used to my house. Today we watched TV together while I petted her and promised her that she'd never again be cold, hot, hungry or unwanted. It was a very good day for both of us.
While I was taking a walk in the back yard a skunk waddled by and into the woods. He didn't bother me and I didn't bother him. Thank goodness, that made me REALLY happy today!LOL.........

Great. You didn't shower, did you? That would probably be why he walked off.

No, I didn't! I also didn't move either. You just hold real still and don't even think about showing any kind of aggression. If, and only if you are lucky they will go on about their business and not spray you!LOL........
What made me happy today is I was fixing one of my good police buds A/C and he offered to sell me some magazines really cheap. I bought all of them he had for about a third of what they cost new. All of them were either new or like new. Kahr MK-9 BTW! Kahr mk-9 image by kevinmichaeldick on Photobucket
