I built my first gingerbread house! Darn, these kits are stingy on the candy. The back ended up not being decorated as I don't keep this type of candy in my house. Oh, well... it's still pretty! There wasn't really room for one gingerbread man in the yard, so I'll have him for dessert.
I was driving by Safeway and stumbled onto the last day of their deli's $5 foot-long ultra-stuffed sandwich for club card holders. That's dinner for TWO nights....Mon. and Tues.
I spent time with my family today. What a blessed day it was...everyone was so happy and we just plain had fun and were silly at times. Went to wal-mart and then out to dinner. It's good to be with those you love and everyone just enjoying each other....
I made a special note in my journal about today. It is a memory that I want to treasure for the rest of my life, and hopefully one day, my sons will stumble upon it and reading it will bring back their memories and bring a smile to their face.
I didn't do a thing today to make me happy....but God did...He blessed my family and I.
Anyway~ I'm happy....Right Now.......because I get to go home for the day!!!! Wooohooooo!!! Bye guys!!!!
