Errr...maybe geographical formations was a metaphor for some hot marital relations.

My friend (ahem) really didn't talk about junk like that with his wife much, he isn't THAT big of a nerd.
Oh darn, I like geography. I like smart guys too.

Aw...c'mon... why's it got to be "like a sailor"? Having been a career Sailor, I can say we never swore, and we don't drink. And that women in every port is not true either!! *coughBScough*

Where's that dang emoticon with a halo?!?!

Love how the good-looking, charming, and nice were edited in afterwards. If it's an afterthought, I dunno if I believe it...
And no, that's not to say that looks are everything. It was just brought to my attention

Refugee56,

I am a female genius. I am sane, I have a career, I am not living with my parents, etc. My intelligence level is in the IQ 170 ballpark. Obviously, this is not information enough to ask a girl on a date, but I am not about to type up a whole dating profile at this hour... I just so happened to be searching for "Dating" and "Genius" - on a whim to find out if there were any dating sites for us - and got this thread... and was surprised to see that it is recent! I just wanted to leave a quick note inviting your friend and all interested geniuses to message me. We will figure out whether we are compatible as we go along.

Wow, thank you for the invite! I am a genius, however, most unfortunately, you are not my type, She_Was.

No, he is not one of those guys with an incredible IQ but lacks common sense and is broke, unemployed and living in his mothers basement because he can not function in society.

Instead he is just a remarkable person. Good looking, charming and nice. He is a graduate of a Ivy League University, has had incredible career success, has traveled around the world, has incredible conversational skills and is so well read and informed.

He has it all except a lady in his life.

He meets many women but leaves the dates unsatisfied and unimpressed. He can not find a women who has the intellectual and practical skills he has. He is just so brilliant and successful, no one he meets is his equal.

Anyone here that is real bright, well informed and successful have a hard time finding an equal?
Is he leaving his dates unimpressed or is he unimpressed with them?

Doesn't really matter. He's likely coming off as superior either way.

My suggestion is he get used to being alone. Sounds like he's priced himself out of the market.

BTW, having worked for two true geniuses, I can say they are a PITA. No one meets their standard. One was married but never spent any time with his family. The other married and divorced three months later.

Just wanted to add that if he's like most geniuses I've known, he doesn't want someone who is his equal but rather someone who will look up to him. Men don't usually like to compete in their relationships and if she's his equal, he will be competing as she will want her ideas heard as much as he does.

JeepGirl118,

Well, it looks like the compatibility issue is that we are the same gender... But we don't have to date to have interesting conversation. Feel free to directly message me if you're interested.
