You can never just smell a hint of it, it's always overkill. That smell stays in your nose for hours. Ladies please tone it down.

Hands down Chanel #5

I also like Shalimar. I only wear these on special occasions. Some people like to take baths in the stuff

I have always liked Chanel 5 as well. But I cannot wear it every day or I start to get little skin irritations. It is not the perfume, just my intolerance to fragrances on the skin.

I have had the same bottle for years as I just wear it if I am going to a wedding or out to dinner.
Someone once was wearing Coco Chanel and I loved the smell....hubster bought some for me last year but I find it extremely strong on me and I don't have the heart to tell him that.........It was expensive.

My night time scent is Chanel # 5 and my day time scent is either Ralph Lauren Blue or Donna Karan Cashmere Mist. I hear from people all the time that they love the way I smell.
