Tori Amos' entire album, "Under The Pink," was the soundtrack to my nervous breakdown in college. My roommate, with whom I was very close, attempted suicide, which sent me into a downward spiral. I didn't eat, didn't sleep, and hardly spoke to anyone for over a week. Just listened to Tori Amos. And paced & cried. Then my parents had to come scoop me up, to get me some help. Happily, my roommate and I both got through the hard times, and made it to sophomore year! Unfortunately, she had to do the year over... and the next year I just went to school part-time~ which accounts for my 5 yr. stint rather than the average 4 yrs., I suppose!
I would so turn up that song and make you sit in the backseat with your arms folded and listen to me belt out the words in a torchured cat voice till it was done.
