And that is a problem because??? I'm sorry but you command respect as I am doing and if you do not have the capacity to engage in intellectual conversations and acknowledge people's input then there is not a problem with me but a problem with you. I am also being very kind and peaceful by calling people out on it...they can choose to be anti-social or they can choose and engage in conversation which is what forums are for....<said with care and concern>

Because it seems that you're not getting the "desired" response back!

Wait, you're saying that "controlling behavior" is not an issue?

Do whatever you want, but FYI: your goal is not working with me, so go ahead and try to control others elsewhere, will you?

And you think that just because I did NOT respond back to your response, that is considered UNintellectual? Wow, you're dense, aren't you?

Ok, so far we have these as dealbreakers:

violence, substance abuse, lazy/ nonambition, infidelity...

But someone else brought this up... the other person's family. Would the "family dynamics" of the person you're with be considered a dealbreaker?

There's probably a lot of things that would bother me which is why I'm single, but aside from the typical turnoffs (alcohol, infidelity) would be someone without a sense of humor, someone who is not affectionate and someone who is utterly boring.

Very interesting! Can you go in details in what you meant by "boring"?

Someone who doesn't have many interests and does not like to talk or get excited. I like a passionate person - not a drama-causer - but an enthusiast who gets excited about life in general and likes to share that enthusiasm - someone who is always curious.

no...unless they didnt like me but that can never happen lol
my deal breaker is bad tippers!
Nothing bugs me more when the meal is $100 and you leave $2 for a tip! (yes this did happen) I put $20 on top of that and he was like, "whats that for?" and Im like, "the tip..." and he was like "oh you think it should be more?"

lol
I think if you cant afford to tip then you cant afford to dine out.
