these days, no pickup lines work. did they ever work? or has it been a thing, generation to generation, that was only ever used by the most sleazy men and therefore mocked? anyways, just be nice, honest and not creepy.

I have NEVER used a pick-up line. In fact, I have never picked up a girl from a bar etc. most\all my dates were through friends then I was off the market for 15 years or so.
I doubt I ever will.
I totally agree. Also, meeting a total stranger is so scary... or at least it should be. I would rather meet someone that I knew something about first.
