How often does your gf/bf/you spend the night over your/their place?

Or do you even allow it?

Hmmmm.....I'm kinda funny with the spending the night thing. I don't want her to get in a habbit of waking up in my bed the next day. She does not have to worry about me because I like my own enviroment more than others by far.

On occassion is fine.

And God forbid she has a toothbrush, right?! Teeth brushing's highly intimidating!

We are of a similar mindset here. If it's the weekend, then I'm okay with it. If I have to go to work in the morning (even if it's a night that my son is NOT home), I REALLY hate not waking up at home. But not every weekend...like you said, occasionally is fine. But I'm totally fine with him/me keeping some personal effects (or high heels even ) at the other's house.

I think I prefer to have my own space with him staying over occasionally. Too much of a good thing can be bad, and it takes time to really be comfortable with sharing your home.

... Hmm... wish I had taken my own advice back when I got involved with my now husband...

Yeah, it can be a bit overwhelming when someone stays over too much. I don't mind a night here or there, but when it gets to be the whole weekend, or every day you are off, that is too much!
