I do, too, but people still post in this forum that they're 19 or 22 or whatever and still a virgin "OMG what's wrong with me?" People should do whatever they want whenever they're comfortable doing it. It's kind of sad that there's this notion that if a person doesn't have the sexual expertise of a seasoned porn star by they time they're 25, there's something wrong with them.

19 or 22 is fine, but if talking late 20's or 30's, I would think that something is wrong with them.
But to each his own, I on one hand can see it being important to some, not so much for others. I would never make fun of someone if that is their belief system and values.
Back in college I knew a girl and we hung out a bit. She was the only girl at 19 that I knew was a virgin. There might have been others, IDK.
Wish I could post pics of the two couples I know who married as virgins - they are so gorgeous in fact that one couple was in an ad for a very well known brides magazine. These are very well-rounded, college educated 20 somethings and were proud enough of their virginity to talk about it openly with anyone who wanted to know more about their choice. It's sad to me that our culture today teaches that sex is common and nothing special, when that's just not true.
Right? I think people have this image of those who decide to wait until they are married but there are exceptions out there like the couple's you and I have seen. I am not saying they are better or worse, but can't just say they are wrong, unhealthy, etc. It's their choice and they are happy like that.

Most people hear of a 40 year old Virgin, they usually wonder what the problem is
I know. It's just not common at all specially if its a woman/man who breaks that stereotypical image of a virgin. If it was something that led them to health problems then I would be concerned. There are people out there who's lives don't focus too much on sex and they can go on without it and be just fine I guess.
I have no need for virgins. It's a good thing I don't, because I'd be hard-pressed to find a new one every day, given the limited supply. Thankfully, the last time I even gave this a passing thought was in my mid-teens.
To be fair, virgin can acquire experience overtime, while experienced can never travel back in time to become innocent again. Fair or not, some guys like to have the whole package.
ahahaha. I didn't read the entire thread so don't know if this has already been mentioned.

I think there are a lot more people out there who are virgins than we might think. I lost my virginity to my now husband when we I was 20 and my now husband was 22. That said, I think we put a lot of pressure on it to be something magical, which it wasn't. It was just sex. All 30 seconds of it. Lol.
It must be different for everyone but I was a virgin when I got married and I had a great experience. (I was 21). Enough that I was late to my wedding reception...
If you are a sensual person and not inhibited you don't really need experience.
While there are exceptions, generally a virgin doesn't really even know her own body when it comes to sex, and while I enjoy an orgasm as much as the next guy, my chief pleasure during sex comes from watching the crazy sensations I'm bringing to my partner's body. It's a sense of both satisfaction from pleasing someone I care about AND a sense of control/power, knowing I can make a woman make those noises and faces, knowing that when she pushes me down onto the bed to have her way it's because I've brought her to the point where she wants it and wants it NOW!
That kind of thing is pretty rare for the inexperienced, let alone a virgin. They may be anxious and eager, certainly; I've experienced those who were and those who weren't. But it's with experience people learn about their OWN bodies and what they want, how to achieve that.
I'm leaving the thread now before the vehement nuh-uhhh's begin.
