I was out on a girl's night last night. We were 5 women hanging out in a bar/ restaurant drinking and chatting.
Seated right in front of us were a couple who spent most of the evening sucking face across the table. Now I don't mind a small amount of PDA, but actually making out? Several times?
The best part was when he started sucking on her fingers across the table.
They weren't even tucked away in a dark corner, they were front and center where literally everyone there could see them.
So what do you think? Is that ok, or taking it a bit too far for a quiet public venue?
I'm not a big fan of pda, but now that my hubby is only home on weekends, I'll take it when I can get it. So watch out public!!!

I have no use for it, but to each his own I think it is in poor taste to be over the top in public but I just chalk it up to being showy...
I've lived in Europe & South America and 'face-sucking' is actually a normal, common & desirable activity everywhere else in the world. EXCEPT here of course.
Americans find it repugnant because you're used to watching pornography 24/7 and in those movies there's very little romance expressed. Also, Americans are used to expressing their sexual desires best when their partner is naked, wearing a dog collar and standing on top of a box wired to an electrical device.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear,that couple's behavior was a bit much.
Even if I had the privilege of having society's acceptance by being in a heterosexual relationship, I wouldn't be making out with my SO in the way that was described in the OP.
The most PDA I'll display is hand-holding and a quick kiss on the lips.
