I'm so, so, so deserving of a speeding ticket, after 13+ years here without a ticket, that when it finally happens I have a script all prepared. If they tell me I was doing 77 in a 65MPH zone, I'm going to argue: NO! I wasn't! You're a liar! Better have your radar system checked! I was doing 92!

In other cities I've lived in, particularly Phoenix, it seemed like they were out to get me everytime I was on the roads down there. After 3 tickets in a short span of time, I said Adios Phoenix! I have driven faster than I ever did down there, and that's why, when I'm caught, I will all but say THANKS!

And it wouldn't surprise me if I get off with a warning, merely employing candor and exaggeration.
