"Over 35: Do you ever met someone of the opposite sex and think, if I were only 10-20-30 years younger?"

Sometimes I meet a really cool member of the opposite sex and I think, 'if I were only 10-20-30 years OLDER!' LOL. Older women are much cooler than young ditz's. Though they aren't as hot unless they take really good care of themselves.

Recently I have been running into young women who are 10-20 years younger than me who take me back in time. They remind me of someone I dated or loved when I was single, or remind me of the type of person I would have loved to date when I was younger. I asked my wife (Jane) if she ever mets younger men she would have been attracted to when she was single if the two of them went into a time machine and came out the same age. She says yes!

We have a secure relationship so can talk about things like this. Can you relate?
While I might feel attracted to women in their 20's, I don't feel as if we'd have enough in common, so if I were ten years younger--or they were 10 years older, I'd find a relationship with them more apropos.

Um if I see someone 20 years younger, then they are friends of my daughters. No I have never thought that I would date a friend of my daughter. I just cannot think in those terms.

Yep. I did go for it...a couple of times. As wonderful as one of them was, it was not what either of us wanted, long term.

I have met one or two guys, who are SO FINE, that if I were ten or twenty years younger, they would be permanently hired for the position of Chief Studmuffin & "Loveslave".

I'm mid 30s -- and no. I prefer women in their 30s to women in their 20s. If I were forced to date 10 years outside of my age, I'd go up, not down.

Typically I don't. Although I'm over 35, I'm not so old that dating someone who was around 20 years old would seem 'weird'.

This.

However my last 2 boyfriends were 9 and 11 years younger, respectively. So I have done it.

Being a gamer has it's advantages, even if I don't do it anymore.
