It because a lot of people don't realize just how much work they are until they are here. They are lovely a lot of the time, but they are also EXHAUSTING, especially when they are little. Plus, people LOVE babies, but they seem to forget they are only small for a short time.

Although my son's just about grown, I don't know what the future will hold or how much help he's going to need in years to come.

Ha-ha, I know. That's why I'd like to rent one for about a year.

On a more serious note, some people who have kids don't really like them so much as babies. They prefer dealing with older kids.

I would.
Back when I was having them I would have but I'm glad I stopped at two now that they're teenagers. I'd say I should have stopped at 1 but my oldest is the drama queen.
