LOL. It's always a fun time, watching people get drunker and braver as they go. They'll start off really shy and become the headliner after a while. I have a friend who will sing ANYTHING, and she's pretty bad, but not scared at all.

I just think it's great to see people get up there and really enjoy themselves, no matter what they sound like. Last night was one of those nights where people were singing the oddest songs. Hopelessly Devoted To You, The Big Bopper, South Park's version of Come Sail Away. Someone actually asked me to sing Baby One More Time by Britney Spears for a birthday. I knew the whole darned song, dag gummit. And it was clear to everyone that I knew the whole darned song, dag gummit.

Good times.

I dunno about that. There was a local pub I would go to sometimes and people were way into it.When someone didn't do it well the people were kind of a tough crowd to it.

I can laugh at myself just fine but no way would I do karaoke because remember that chinese guy from American idol who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket?,he sings better than me.

There is a difference between laughing at yourself and humiliating yourself. It would only be torture to people in a bar to hear me sing and who wants that plus not a very good way to impress the women.

No thanks,I'd rather go see a live band instead of people who shouldn't be holding a mic.

Ohhhh yeah.... I don't have fabulous range, but can do Billy Joel okay.... My best ever was probably Linkin Park - In the End and it was one of those nights where I was sufficiently drunk, but not TOO drunk and my voice didn't crack...

Other than that, I'm usually the white guy who goes up and does classic rap songs.... Ya'll know me. Every karaoke place has one of me...

alcohol does not improve your performance, it makes you feel better about your performance.

Oh........ I thought everyone was getting into it because I was good.... You're saying it's because they were all laughing at me because I actually THOUGHT I was good???
