I agree 100% people like the whole fairytale of love and like the idea of being loved more then giving love out also..

I think people think getting married will add to their life and when they find out it doesnt make things any better and life can still get boring and mundane they think its the relationship when in reality its just natural for two human bings too become stagnant..

I thinku should only get marired if you arent a very selfish person because if u are and think the next big thing you deserve then i dont think its for you..

I could be wrogn but sounds too me like you werent the most attratcive person when you were young and didnt get allot of attnetion from men now you look better or whatever and are getting mroe attetion and love the feeling and want to make up for the time when you were younger and ignored by guys..
